CISS is committed to promoting the safety and well-being of all of our students. As such, our school has adopted a Child Protection Policy (Handbook) to provide guidance to our staff and families on matters related to the care, safety, and health of our students.
The Child Protection Policy (Handbook) is officially available for the schools of CISS: The Canadian International School (CIS), the Bilingual Canadian International School (BCIS), the Canada-Vietnam Kindergarten (CVK), and the Albert Einstein School (AES) in the 2019 - 2020 school year.
The CISS Child Protection Policy is supported by Vietnamese Children’s Law (adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on April 05, 2016) and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child of which Vietnam is a signatory.
Utilizing our CISS Handbook, staff and families are provided with a Definition and Indicators of Abuse, Neglect and a timely and confidential process for reporting child protection concerns. This was created to ensure we provide a safe school environment for all of our students.

As part of the Child Protection Program and our overall curriculum, CISS will provide the following:
Child protection is not only about slogans at CISS, but also about a commitment to a consistent policy and specific guidance for anyone to define, understand and act to keep our students safe.
But more than any policy, wherever children are respected, they will be protected. And we are doing our best to achieve this at CISS.
